在造紙廠做了二十五年的萬洙，覺得和妻子美莉、兩個孩子以及幾隻狗過的日子已經沒什麼可求的了。可是公司突然通知他被解僱。他發誓三個月內重新上工，面試卻拖了一年多，好不容易買下的房子也快保不住。當他開始盯著搶同一個位子的對手時，萬洙做了一個回不了頭的決定。本片由朴贊郁執導，改編自Donald E. Westlake的小說《The Ax》。作品入圍第82屆威尼斯影展主競賽單元，又獲選為第30屆釜山影展開幕片，2025年9月24日在韓國上映，並拿下第46屆青龍電影獎最佳影片獎。
這部片在忠清南道拍過好幾個地方，真能去站一站的只有唐津的道飛島碼頭。一起取景的KG鋼鐵石門工廠是在產工廠，外人進不去；給萬洙一家當家的牙山那棟住宅有人住著，地址從未公開。道飛島原本是島，1984年大湖防潮堤修通後與陸地相連，開車可以直接進去。碼頭有開往大蘭芝島的客船，出發前先查好船期，這趟就不只是拍一張照再折返。

The Dobido pier at Nanjido-ri in Seokmun-myeon, Dangjin, South Chungcheong. The local paper Dangjin Times reported on 9 May 2025 that the film shot at the Dobido pier and the KG Steel Seokmun plant between November and December 2024, and the Hoseo University paper listed the pier among the film's main locations on 29 September 2025. Which scene was captured here has not been made public. The same pier stood in for the port of Mujin in Netflix's Squid Game, where the vans carrying the players roll onto the car ferry. It was an island until the Daeho seawall reached it in 1984, and ferries for Nanji Island now leave from here.
