Valletta Malta
The carnival sequence was shot in the old town of Valletta, Malta's capital. The crew laid sand over the roads and dressed the facades with period shopfronts, turning whole streets into Victorian London. The UNESCO-listed city's golden lanes, lined with the colorful wooden balconies known as gallariji, look straight out of the film.

Enola's wedding ceremony was filmed at St Paul's Cathedral in Mdina, Malta's ancient former capital. The walled, car-free Silent City also hosts the scene where Enola tails a suspicious sergeant through its narrow lanes. It is roughly a 30-minute bus ride from Valletta.

Fort Ricasoli Kalkara Malta
The explosive final confrontation was staged at Fort Ricasoli, a 17th-century fortress guarding the mouth of the Grand Harbour. It is Malta's workhorse film location, having hosted Gladiator, Troy, and Napoleon. The interior is normally closed to visitors, so the best views are from Valletta's Upper Barrakka Gardens or a harbour cruise.
