Surrounded by the Seogang River on three sides and walled off by a cliff on the other, this isolated landscape captures the young king's loneliness exactly. Danjong's quarters, the Gwaneumsong pine, and Manghyangtap tower still stand among the pines.

A Yeongwol landmark where a 70-meter rock stands tall above a riverside cliff. The scenes carrying the exile procession and the film's tragic mood were completed atop these rugged ridges and sheer cliffs.
