Opening hours vary stall to stall, so early morning can be empty.

An indoor garden built inside a working glass greenhouse. Trees reach the ceiling and water runs through the interior, so green fills the frame regardless of the weather outside. That is the appeal here, that a rainy day or midwinter still gives you the same picture. It sits beside Gisan Reservoir, so the water comes with the trip. Seats fill up quickly on weekend afternoons.

A park where central Seoul steps straight down to the river. The duck boats you see on screen are rented at the Mulbit Nauru dock, and only while they are out on the water during the day does the view match. 학산항 경남 거제시 둔덕면 학산리

A small fishing harbour in Dundeok-myeon on the western side of Geoje. A seawall, a few boats and the water are all there is, so it feels thin if you arrive expecting sights, and that emptiness is close to why the production chose it. It is open on every side and the wind comes straight through, so bring a layer. You need a car from central Geoje, and there is little in the way of restaurants or shops nearby, so carry what you plan to eat.

An old bookshop left on the Baedari secondhand book street. Books stacked floor to ceiling show through the yellow frontage, so it registers from the street. It sits on the walk down south from Jungang Market, which makes it a natural last stop when you take the four Incheon locations in one go. It is a working shop, so buying something beats photographing it and leaving.

A reading hall inside Paju Book City. Shelves run to the ceiling and form the walls, with reading tables in front of them, so books are the room rather than the backdrop. It is also the location that sits closest to this show's premise about a novelist. Entry is free and you can sit as long as you like, and being inside the publishing complex it turns into a half day with the bookshops and cafes around it.

A city park built around an artificial lake. The loop path is 4.7 kilometres, walkable or cyclable, and it alternates between waterfront, lawn and woodland so the backdrop changes several times inside one park. Walk in from Jeongbalsan Station. Early morning, when it is empty, comes closest to what was filmed.

말티재 전망대 충북 보은군 장안면 장재리

An observation deck looking down on a switchback pass. The twelve bends stack into one view, which makes this one of the rare places where the road itself is the scenery. You climb stairs to reach the deck, a few minutes of it. It sits on the way into Songnisan, so many people pair it with Beopjusa, and the car park fills early in autumn foliage season.

사계해안 제주 서귀포시 안덕면 사계리

A shoreline with Sanbangsan at your back and Hyeongjeseom out in front. The beach mixes black basalt with sand, so it reads a different colour from other Jeju beaches, which suits how dark this series looks. There are several pull-ins along the coast road, so you can take in a few angles without walking far. It is often windy enough that a hat needs holding down.

신매대교 강원 춘천시 서면 신샘밭로

A bridge over the Bukhan River linking central Chuncheon with Seomyeon. From the deck you get water and mountains in the same frame, and on early mornings when mist rises off the river the far ridge blurs out and the view changes entirely. There is a walkway, so you can cross on foot, though traffic moves fast and it is worth keeping to the rail side.

산달연륙교 경남 거제시 거제면 법동리

The bridge joining Geoje to Sandaldo. Until it opened in 2018 the island was reachable only by boat, so this is a place where a single bridge changed how people live. From the deck and the landing on the far side the sea sits there uncrowded, and it is a short drive from Hakssan Port, which lets you take the three Geoje locations in a day. There is almost nothing in the way of facilities on the island.

A garden and cafe on a hillside in southern Geoje. Trees and flowers are planted along a yard cut into terraces, with the sea visible between them. It runs opposite to the bare seawall at Hakssan Port, which lets you see two very different looks from the same island in one trip. There is an admission fee, and there is less to see in winter.

A large retail floor spread under the Yeouido business district. Long corridors finished in glass and metal give the opposite picture from the worn texture the series uses in old Incheon. It is about ten minutes on foot from Yeouido Han River Park, so pairing the two comes naturally, and it connects underground to Yeouido Station, which means you get in dry on a wet day.

A hotel standing at the north end of Mapo Bridge. The lounge and the upper terrace open toward the Han River, so the water and the bridge sit in the same view, and the hour after sunset when the bridge lights come on is the closest match to the series. You do not need to be staying to use the lounge and dining spaces, so it is worth taking a seat rather than passing through. A few minutes on foot from Mapo Station.

A park running along the south bank of the Han River. Where the Yeouido side is open plaza, this one is mostly trees and walking paths strung along the water, with Namsan and the north-bank cityscape across from it. You enter through the Jamwon underpass and it is a bit of a walk from the subway. Summer evenings fill with picnic mats, so go during the day if you want it as quiet as it looks on screen.
