Bubble Gum is a breezy, nostalgia-tinged track from NewJeans' 2024 double single How Sweet. Rather than stage choreography, its music video follows the five members through a sun-washed summer daydream, playing by the sea and blowing bubbles under wide open skies. Filmed largely on Jeju Island, it became one of the group's most-watched videos, crossing tens of millions of views within days of release.
The video's carefree seaside mood comes straight from Hwangwuchi Beach, a black-sand cove on Jeju's southwestern coast. Stand on the same shore, with Sanbangsan rising behind you and the Hyeongjeseom islets floating offshore, and it is easy to picture the members wading and laughing in the surf. It is a quiet, largely uncommercial spot, ideal for travelers who want the MV's atmosphere without the crowds.

Hwangwuchi Beach sits in Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon, in Seogwipo on Jeju's southwestern shore, a roughly 160,000-square-metre stretch of dark volcanic sand named for its ox-horn shape. It is framed by the dramatic cliffs of Yongmeori Coast on one side and the sheer mass of Sanbangsan directly behind, with the Hyeongjeseom islets floating offshore. NewJeans filmed the beach-play scenes of Bubble Gum here, wading in the shallows and blowing bubbles along the tideline. The cove is calm and largely undeveloped, best reached by car via the parking area near the ONE AND ONLY cafe, from which you can walk down to the water or continue onto the Yongmeori Coast trail.
