After being expelled from high school and serving time, Park Sae-ro-yi loses his father and opens a small bar called Danbam in a back alley of Itaewon. His campaign against Jangga, the country's largest food company, only takes shape once Jo Yi-seo, a social media influencer, signs on as his manager. Adapted from the webtoon of the same name and directed by Kim Seong-yoon, the 16 episode series aired on JTBC from 31 January to 21 March 2020.
Because the show is set in Itaewon, nearly every location sits inside a short radius of Noksapyeong Station. The alley shop that housed Danbam, the Noksapyeong overpass that frames N Seoul Tower head on, and the Bogwang-dong guesthouse where Sae-ro-yi first meets Yi-seo string together on foot, and only Baekbeom Plaza on Namsan, the site of the final episode kiss, asks for one more climb.

The filming site of Danbam, the first bar Park Sae-ro-yi opens in Itaewon. It is a ground floor shop on the alley that climbs from Noksapyeong Station toward Gyeongnidan-gil, and after the drama ended a bar called Seoul Bam took over the space. The sign and the interior have changed, but the slope of the alley and the view through the window are exactly what you saw on screen.

A pedestrian overpass crossing the main road of Itaewon. Stand at the top of the stairs and N Seoul Tower sits straight ahead, which is why characters keep coming back here to settle their feelings or run into each other. Plenty of other dramas and films have borrowed the same angle.

The Bogwang-dong guesthouse where Park Sae-ro-yi and Jo Yi-seo meet for the first time. It sits at the top of an alley, so the roof looks out over the tiled roofs of Itaewon, and their first conversation happens at that height. It is lodging, so the inside belongs to its guests, and the alley and the exterior are as far as visitors should go.

The plaza at the foot of Namsan where Park Sae-ro-yi and Jo Yi-seo kiss in the final episode. N Seoul Tower and the lit fortress wall stand behind the two of them, so come after sunset if you want the frame you remember. The Namsan fortress wall trail runs straight on from here, which makes it easy to fold into a walk.
