A dark-fantasy historical drama set inside a cursed palace called the East Palace. Gu-cheon, a ghost-slayer who crosses between the worlds of the living and the dead and can turn into a ghost to cut down spirits with his sword, teams up with Saeng-gang, a court lady who hears the voices of the deceased. Summoned by the king, the two dig into a vast secret buried within the East Palace across eight episodes.

The drama's gloomy palace and its ghost-haunted world were built mostly on a large studio set in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi, but that set burned down in a late-2024 fire, so there's nothing to visit there. If you're after that sageuk palace atmosphere, you're better off heading to an open sageuk set like Mungyeong Saejae, which carries a similar mood and is open to the public.
