Genie, a career-interrupted spirit who wakes after a thousand years, meets Ga-young — a human born without feelings. As three wishes are laid before a woman who has only ever lived by her grandmother's rules and her own routines, an unpredictable fantasy romance begins. Kim Woo-bin and Suzy carry the chemistry of a spirit and a human separated by a millennium with a sly lightness, while big-scale locations — from the mist over Cheongpung Lake to the dunes of Dubai — fill the frame.
Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex, which seems to float in the middle of Chungju Lake, and the Bibongsan ridge that curls around the water hold the mood of the drama's Cheongpung Village exactly — so just riding the cable car across the lake makes you feel like you've stepped into the frame. Stroll the complex's stone-wall paths and look down on the mist-laden lake, and the walk where Genie and Ga-young moved side by side naturally overlaps.

청풍문화재단지 충청북도 제천시 청풍면 청풍호로 2048
Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex, an open-air museum assembled by relocating the cultural assets of Cheongpung-myeon, which were submerged by the Chungju Dam. The view of Hanbyeongnu and Paryeongnu pavilions, old government offices and traditional houses lined up with their backs to Cheongpung Lake becomes the main stage of the in-show Cheongpung Village, where Genie and Ga-young's daily life and the townsfolk's stories unfold. Walk the path along the stone walls and you'll meet, just as it was, the scene of mist rising over the lake. Anyone can tour the grounds with the admission fee, making it a fine starting point for the location pilgrimage.
청풍호반케이블카 비봉산 충청북도 제천시 청풍면 문화재길 166
The Cheongpung Lakeside Cable Car, which climbs across Cheongpung Lake to the summit of Bibongsan, and the lake view it looks down on from above. The winding lake and mountain slopes spread out at a glance, forming the vast natural backdrop that wraps around the in-show Cheongpung Village. It served as the stage for surveying the town from afar or for scenes where a character's emotion swells. Stand at the summit observatory and you can face, just as it is, the curve of the lake the drama captured — a natural pairing with a tour of the heritage complex.
제민천 충청남도 공주시 반죽동
Jemin Stream, a small waterway that runs through Gongju's old downtown. The low old houses, alleys and bridges lining the watercourse create an endearing neighborhood scene and appear as the characters' living space. Used as the backdrop for the calm moments of strolling along the stream or crossing paths on a bridge, it adds a humble feeling distinct from the vastness of Cheongpung Lake. Cafes and bookshops gather along the stream, so it's a good place to walk slowly and savor the alley mood from the show.
