Hal Jordan, a veteran of the Green Lantern Corps, and John Stewart, its newest recruit, take on a murder in a small town in the American heartland. The two space cops work this one on the ground rather than in orbit, and the local killing opens onto something far larger. An eight-episode DC series for HBO.
The locations split between Burbank and Piru, and opening hours are the thing to plan around. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood runs on booked slots from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., while Center Street in Piru, which stood in for downtown Rushville, is a public road with no schedule at all. Finish the Burbank tour in the morning, drive out to Piru after lunch, and both fit into one day. Piru asks for little walking. Corazon de Piru sits on that same Center Street at number 3940, a few doors along from the storefronts. The Nebraska signage and facades were dressed for the shoot and taken down afterwards, so do not arrive expecting Rushville to still be standing.

The real street that plays the main drag of Rushville, Nebraska. Piru is an unincorporated town in Ventura County about 40 miles (64 km) from downtown Los Angeles, with 2,587 residents at the 2020 census. For the shoot, the storefronts along Center Street and the rest of Main Street were redressed as a small Nebraska town, then restored once filming wrapped, so what you find today is Piru rather than Rushville. It is a public road, walkable at any hour, and the town has taken filming for decades, from War of the Worlds to Twilight Zone: The Movie.
Corazon de Piru 3940 Center Street Piru CA 93040 USA
Not a filming location but the building the production used as its wardrobe department during the shoot. The New York Times reported that the wardrobe team set up inside Corazon de Piru, and there is no evidence the business itself appears on screen. It stands at 3940 Center Street, the same street that played Rushville, a few steps from the storefronts. It works as a coffee shop by day and a beer and wine bar at night, and it is still open to the public.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood 3400 Warner Blvd Burbank CA 91505 USA
The production occupied three stages on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank. The Stewart family home was built on Stage 19, a set of roughly 21,600 square feet (2,007 square meters). There is no evidence that set still stands and it is not part of the tour route, so treat this as the lot rather than a set visit. The only public way onto the lot is Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, and its entrance is 3400 Warner Blvd, not the lot address of 4000 Warner Blvd. Tours are ticketed and booked in advance, running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
