A tragedy leaves teenager Jackie Howard without a family, and she moves from Manhattan to the Walter place in rural Colorado, where her guardians are raising eight sons. In a house that never quiets down she learns her way back into love, friendship and ordinary life. Season 3 arrived with all ten episodes at once on August 6, 2026.
High River is a small town in southern Alberta that had been hosting film crews long before this show. Its own municipal film page lists the series alongside The Last of Us and Fargo, and the town runs a self-guided walking tour called Step Into the Scene. The Silver Falls main street of season 3 is 4 Avenue SW, and George Lane Memorial Park with its proposal gazebo, the Museum of the Highwood where the town meeting was shot, and the Knee Deep Bar & Grill all follow on foot. Everything beyond the town needs a car. Highway 546 into Sheep River Falls is closed to vehicles from December 1 to mid-May, and parking anywhere in Kananaskis requires a Kananaskis Conservation Pass. The Millarville ranch behind Alex's rodeo and Foothills Athletic Park in Calgary are separate drives again.

Filming Locations
4 Avenue SW High River Alberta Canada
The real street that plays the Silver Falls main drag in season 3. It is High River's commercial block, lined with cafes and restaurants, and the town's self-guided Step Into the Scene walking tour runs along it. Being a public street it is open at any hour, and the rest of the High River locations follow on foot from here.
George Lane Memorial Park 228 12 Avenue SE High River Alberta Canada
The gazebo where Danny proposes to Erin in episode 6 stands in this park. It is a municipal park and campground run by the Town of High River at 228 12 Ave SE. The gazebo can be booked, and there is a separate public bandstand. The park itself stays open year round, while the campground and washrooms operate only from May 4 to September 30.
Museum of the Highwood 406 1 Street SW High River Alberta Canada
The town meeting in episode 2 was shot here. The building was High River's railway station before it became the local museum. The address is 406 1 Street SW, and it opens Monday to Saturday from 9 to 16 and Sunday from 12 to 16. Admission is by donation.
Knee Deep Bar & Grill 134 Macleod Trail SW High River Alberta Canada
The bar where Alex and Kiley go looking for their grandmother in episode 9. It is a working neighbourhood bar and grill in High River, at 134 Macleod Trail SW according to its own site. Hours run Sunday 12 to 21, Monday to Thursday 11 to 22, Friday 11 to 1 the next morning, and Saturday 12 to midnight.
Sheep River Falls Sheep Falls Day Use Sheep River Provincial Park Kananaskis Country Alberta Canada
The waterfall behind the episode 1 scene where Jackie and Cole finally say what they have been holding back. It sits inside Sheep River Provincial Park in Kananaskis Country, at the Sheep Falls Day Use area. Access is the catch. Highway 546 leading in is closed to vehicles from December 1 to mid-May to protect wintering wildlife, and parking anywhere in Kananaskis requires a Kananaskis Conservation Pass.
Black Diamond Land & Cattle Co. Millarville Alberta Canada
The ranch behind Alex's rodeo storyline, which runs across several episodes of season 3. It is a private cattle operation in Millarville, but the ranch house is rented out as accommodation and Rampage Paintball operates on the property, so a booking gets you through the gate. Netflix lists it as a season 3 location on its own Canadian filming map.
Foothills Athletic Park 2431 Crowchild Trail NW Calgary Alberta Canada
The Calgary athletics park used for Jackie's track meet. Run by the City of Calgary, it has a Class A 400m track and Foothills Stadium, and sits at 2431 Crowchild Tr. N.W., with parking entered from 24 Ave N.W. The University of Calgary campus next door is also listed as a location for this show on the Netflix map.
