Cheongna Hill is the centerpiece of Daegu's Modern History Alley in Jung-gu, where red-brick residences built by Western missionaries in the early 1900s sit beneath a canopy of blue-green ivy that gives the hill its name. At the top you'll find the '90 Steps' commemorating the March 1st Independence Movement, the historic Daegu Jeil Church, and the footbridge that links the hill to Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital. This is the very bridge and hillside where the NewJeans members cycled and strolled in the 'Ditto' video. Several of the former missionary homes now serve as small museums, making the spot an easy half-day stop paired with a walk through the surrounding heritage lanes.
