Go Eun-sae, a star prosecutor in the anti-corruption unit of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, comes to in an unfamiliar country village with no idea who she is. The man at her bedside, Jang Tae-ha, insists he is her boyfriend. He is really a former boxing prodigy trying to cut ties with a criminal ring, and the lie is the only thing keeping her alive. The live-in arrangement that follows, in a hamlet full of taffy workshops, turns out to be as tangled as it is sweet. Jung Hae-in and Ha Young lead, Kim Jang-han directed and Mo Ji-hye wrote it. All twelve episodes dropped on Netflix at once on 7 August 2026.
The taffy village the two of them hide out in does not exist. It was stitched together from a stone-walled hamlet in Yecheon, North Gyeongsang, and a reservoir plus a cherry lane down in Dangjin, South Chungcheong, so the location trail splits cleanly into two separate days.

A traditional hanok village in Yecheon where stone walls run on like a maze. It is one of the ten places Joseon-era texts named as safe havens in times of upheaval, and the show casts its lanes as the heart of the fictional Gujin taffy village. Deogyongjae, an old house inside the village, comes up again and again as the main shooting spot. This is a lived-in neighborhood rather than a tourist site, so stay on the lanes and out of the courtyards.
The country road where Tae-ha and Eun-sae walk side by side. Sanggeum Sijang-gil runs straight on from the hanok village through Yongmun-myeon, quiet enough that the unhurried pace of the scene survives the trip. Save it for the walk back out after you have finished the village lanes and you never double back.

The building that stands in for the gym sits inside the same hanok village: Yongmun Gongso, a chapel of the Catholic Diocese of Andong. A gongso is a small chapel with no resident priest, which is why its yard is usually empty on a weekday afternoon. It is still a place of worship, so ask before you look inside.

A reservoir in Myeoncheon, Dangjin, with a pavilion called Geongonilchojeong sitting out in the middle of the water. Old cherry trees ring the bank, so in spring the blossom shade settles over the whole surface. Roundups citing Dangjin local press put the shoot here on 10 April 2025, which is the bloom you see on screen. Outside cherry season what is left is the pavilion and the color of the water.

A three-kilometre run of cherry trees starting from Galsan-ri in Sunseong-myeon. The cycling scene where the two of them ride through the blossom was shot along here. It is close enough to the reservoir to fit into the same day in Dangjin, though out of season it is just a rural road.

A gallery built inside a closed-down elementary school. Ivy has taken the walls, the classrooms are now exhibition rooms and the old window frames still line the corridor, which is why the show's quieter moments needed almost no dressing here. Word of the shoot has thickened the weekend crowd, so check the opening hours, closing days and admission before you set out.
