Jin Yi-soo, heir to a conglomerate and a detective on a violent crimes team, is back. His habit of throwing money at an investigation keeps colliding with how the force actually works, and this time he has to fall in step with a new team leader. Season 2 began in August 2026, following the 2024 first season.
Daejeon Dongbu Police Station is the one real location named for season 2. The exterior of the violent crimes building where Jin Yi-soo works was shot there. The hotel and his house are sets, so there is nothing on site that matches the screen. One exterior stop inside a Daejeon itinerary is about the right size.
