In 1970s Busan, Baek Ki-tae leads a double life, chief of the intelligence section at the Korean Central Intelligence Agency's Busan branch by day and a dangerous businessman by night, as he reaches for the top of wealth and power. Jang Geon-young, a prosecutor at the Busan District Prosecutors' Office ready to stake everything to stop him, closes in, and the two collide at the center of events that shake the era. Hyun Bin plays Baek Ki-tae and Jung Woo-sung plays Jang Geon-young, under director Woo Min-ho, who made Inside Men and The Man Standing Next. The six-episode first season premiered on Disney+ on 24 December 2025, and the six-episode second season, set nine years later, has been releasing two episodes a week since 9 September 2026. On 11 September, season 2 ranked first and season 1 second in the OTT category of the Kinolights integrated content ranking.
The locations are spread across Paju, Jecheon and Hapcheon, so it works better to visit them one at a time than to cover them all in one trip. For Camp Greaves in Paju, the Imjingak Peace Gondola lets you buy a ticket on site and go in the same day without prior approval, though you must sign a security pledge and show ID at the boarding area.

This was the base where the US Army's 2nd Infantry Division 506th Regiment was stationed for some 50 years after the 1953 armistice. The unit left in 2004, and the site was returned to the South Korean government in 2007. Its semicircular Quonset huts survive in their original form, which is why the drama Descendants of the Sun was shot here, and Made in Korea, set in the 1970s, was filmed here too. By road across Tongil Bridge only groups of 20 or more can enter, with prior approval, but on the Imjingak Peace Gondola you can buy a ticket on site and visit the same day.

In season 2 it appears as the Korean Central Intelligence Agency building. The trailer scene in which Baek Ki-tae, newly made the agency's first deputy director and acting director, receives a salute from a group of people in unison was shot in this building. The Social Sciences Building on the same campus was also used for season 2.

This open-air film set is where Made in Korea, a drama set in the 1970s, was shot, and the season 2 scene of a protest being put down was filmed here too. It is closed on Mondays, but when a Monday is a public holiday it opens and closes the following day instead. On days when a film or drama is shooting, access to the sets may be restricted.
