'CHEER UP' was the title track of TWICE's second mini album 'PAGE TWO', released in April 2016. The 'shy shy shy' hook was sung back at the group all summer and carried a rookie act, barely a year past debut, straight into national-girl-group territory. The video is built as a chain of short vignettes in which each of the nine members plays a character from a different film, so a single clip holds nine distinct looks.
The cherry blossom lane where Mina walks in her school uniform under falling petals is real, running along the embankment path of Yangjae Stream in Seoul. The Seoul Tourism Organization lists it as the video's filming spot, so there is no guesswork involved, and it is close enough to the subway that an afternoon covers it. The blossoms usually open in April, but the path along the water is a good walk in any season.

The shot of Mina in her school uniform, walking beneath drifting petals and turning to look at the camera, was filmed on the cherry blossom lane at Yangjae Stream. Cherry trees line the embankment path that follows the stream, and in April the whole stretch, roughly five kilometers there and back, turns into a tunnel of blossom. You can walk in from Hangnyeoul Station on subway line 3 or Gaepo-dong Station on the Bundang line, and long after the petals fall there are still people walking and cycling the waterside. The section between Yeongdong Bridge 6 and Daechi Bridge has facilities for elderly and disabled visitors.
