After watching his parents die, Bruce Wayne drifts across the world until a secret order in the Himalayas teaches him to master his body and his fear. He returns to a Gotham where corruption is the default setting, torn between becoming a vigilante and becoming a symbol, and chooses the bat.
The Himalayan ice fields are in fact Svínafellsjökull in Iceland. Book a glacier hike from the Skaftafell visitor centre and you can walk the same surface where Bruce crossed swords. Gotham's skyline duty fell to Chicago, and the Chicago Board of Trade Building that plays Wayne Enterprises still matches the film angle for angle when you look up from Jackson Boulevard.

Svínafellsjökull glacier at Skaftafell, Iceland, where the Himalayan training scenes, Bruce learning the blade and his fear from Ducard, were shot on the ice. The crevassed surface cannot be entered without equipment, so go only on a guided tour.
Chicago Board of Trade Building 141 West Jackson Boulevard Chicago
The Chicago Board of Trade Building, the art deco tower that plays Wayne Enterprises. It closes the end of Jackson Boulevard head-on, so walking down LaSalle Street gives you the film's exact composition, right up to the statue of Ceres on the roof.
Mentmore Towers Mentmore Buckinghamshire England
Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, the nineteenth-century house that plays Wayne Manor, a Gothic Revival pile built for the Rothschilds in 1855. It is private and the interior is closed, but the front silhouette is visible from the village road.
