The ACT headquarters Kim Nak-su strides into each morning is Centerfield, the twin glass towers in the heart of Gangnam, while his rival's 3.8-billion-won "Banpo River Palace" is in fact a brand-new complex out in Incheon, a gap that sharpens the show's quiet satire. Walk beneath the glass facades of Teheran-ro and the weight carried by one middle-aged breadwinner behind all that polish feels suddenly close.

It is in fact not Seoul's Banpo but Singeomdan Royal Park City II, a new complex in Incheon's Seo-gu, a scene that has become emblematic of the show's satire on wealth.
