Kim Do-ki drives for a taxi company whose real business is revenge for victims the law failed to protect. Season 3 ran from November 21, 2025 to January 10, 2026 over sixteen episodes, and the finale drew a 13.3 percent nationwide household rating from Nielsen Korea. The early stretch follows the people behind a second-hand marketplace scam, a trail that leads out to an island.
Start with what limits the trip. Bunam Beach in Samcheok, where the first episode's shoreline scene was shot, is run by the village and opens in daylight only, and Munhwa Taxi in Jungnang-gu, the yard that stands in for the drama's taxi company, is a working business you can only look at from the street. Jaeun Island, the show's fictional Samheungdo, needs no ferry but is reached by crossing two bridges in turn, and Huinnyeoul Culture Village in Busan is a lived-in neighborhood. The four sit on three different coasts and refuse to line up as one route, so plan a day for Jaeun Island, a day for Samcheok and a day for Busan.

This is Samheungdo, the island invented for the show. According to on-site reporting by the JoongAng Ilbo, most of the island scenes, where Kim Do-ki tracks the people behind a second-hand marketplace scam, were shot on Jaeun Island in Sinan County, South Jeolla, and the Hanun jetty area used as the body dump site is a well known shooting spot on the island. No ferry timetable is involved: the 7.2 km Cheonsa Bridge, opened in 2019, and the 675 m Eunam Bridge carry a car onto the island one after the other. Two bridge crossings add up, so allow generous driving time from the Mokpo side. Hanun Beach on the same island also stood in for the fishing village scenery of Heuksando in the film The Book of Fish.
부남해변 강원특별자치도 삼척시 근덕면 부남리
The Japanese shoreline where a mystery woman is found in episode one was shot here. The JoongAng Ilbo identified it as Bunam Beach in Samcheok, Gangwon Province, the same beach that closes the film Decision to Leave. The village manages the beach and opens it in daylight hours only, so arriving after sunset is a wasted trip. Local bus 23 from the stop in front of the Samcheok bus terminal drops you at Bunam 2-ri, about a 680 m walk from the sand; by car, turn off National Route 7 onto the Bunam 2-ri village road. Samcheok city calls it the best looking beach in Deokgeun-myeon thanks to the sea rocks scattered along it. Enquiries go to the Geundeok-myeon office on 033-570-4806.

A cliffside village in Yeongdo, Busan, named as a Taxi Driver 3 location by a Sports Donga article on January 15, 2026. No confirmation from the production or from Busan authorities turned up, so that single article is the whole basis for the claim. Narrow lanes and white houses stack in tiers above the sea, and the drama Good Boy used the same alleys. People still live here, and the doorways and yards are private property, so keep your voice down in the lanes. The route is a chain of stairs and slopes, easier in flat shoes.

The taxi company that plays the drama's garage. Sports Donga reported that season 3, like season 2, filmed at Munhwa Taxi in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, and here too that article is the only source. The company is in business, the yard is where its drivers work, and there is no visitor programme or opening time. Look at the sign and the garage front from the street and leave it at that.
