Runway, the fashion magazine, is losing ground as print collapses. To keep it alive, editor in chief Miranda Priestly has to sit across from the executive who controls a luxury group's advertising budget, her former assistant Emily Charlton. Andy Sachs, back at Runway as a features editor, completes the triangle twenty years on. David Frankel directs, and Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci all return to their original roles. It opened on April 29, 2026 in Korea and May 1 in the United States, took 692.8 million dollars worldwide, and moved to Disney+ and Hulu on July 29.
A natural history museum, an old Park Avenue hotel, a corner bar in Brooklyn, the courtyard of a Milanese art academy and a glass roofed arcade. All six were doing their own work long before the film came. The three New York stops fit into one day, with the museum steps in the afternoon, the Waldorf Astoria lobby at dusk and the Brooklyn bar after dark. In Milan the three sites string together on foot, from Palazzo Parigi through Brera to the Duomo, an easy half day. Two places are worth leaving off. Benji's villa on Lake Como is a private estate let out whole, and the Last Supper refectory at Santa Maria delle Grazie was rebuilt as a set rather than filmed on site.

American Museum of Natural History 200 Central Park West New York NY 10024
The Runway gala was shot here, with the museum standing in for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the camera set on the front steps facing Central Park West. Production designer Jess Gonchor said the sequence needed the kind of crowd that gathers outside the Met Gala. The building is a public natural history museum on the western edge of Central Park, so the steps cost nothing to climb while the halls inside need a ticket. The staircase faces east toward the park and takes the light head on in the morning.
Waldorf Astoria New York 301 Park Avenue New York NY 10022
This is the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria at 301 Park Avenue, closed for six years of renovation and filmed just before it reopened. Production designer Jess Gonchor said the name The Devil Wears Prada is what got the permission. The hotel has since reopened, so today you pass through that lobby as a guest. Booking a room or a table is easier than lingering with a camera. It sits southeast of the natural history museum, across Central Park.
The Long Island Bar 110 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn NY 11201
Andy's date scene was filmed here. The Long Island Bar is an old neighborhood bar at 110 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, on the corner where Atlantic meets Henry Street, and it is still open in 2026. It is a working bar rather than a sight, so there is no admission and the way to visit is to order a drink and sit down. It is across the river, which makes it the night stop after the two Manhattan locations.
Palazzo Parigi Hotel Grand Spa Corso di Porta Nuova 1 20121 Milano
The anchor of the Milan section. The hotel's own page names four scenes shot on site. Andy steps out of the elevator and meets Nigel in the marble staircase lobby, where she runs into Miranda. Nigel, at breakfast in Café Parigi, spots Andy walking past. After a fashion week event the two of them look into the Tiffany window in front of the hotel. Emily waits for Andy in a car at the main entrance. It is a working hotel at Corso di Porta Nuova 1, so the lobby and the café are for guests, while the Tiffany window and the entrance are plain to see from the street. The bedroom scenes were shot not here but at a mansion on Long Island.
Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera Via Brera 28 20121 Milano
The runway show stage. Italy's culture ministry portal confirms the shoot took place in the cortile d'onore of Palazzo di Brera, with Canova's bronze Napoleon as Mars (1810), which stands in the courtyard, left at the center of the catwalk. Lady Gaga's musical cameo belongs to the same sequence. Palazzo di Brera houses both the Accademia di Belle Arti and the Pinacoteca di Brera, and the courtyard is the passage into them, busy with students and visitors through the day. Seeing the paintings takes a separate Pinacoteca ticket.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II Piazza del Duomo 20123 Milano
Miranda's solitary night walk through the arcade was filmed here, as confirmed by the culture ministry portal. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a glass roofed arcade linking Piazza del Duomo with Piazza della Scala, and Milanese still use it as a shortcut. By day the crowd is thick enough to hide the mosaic floor; late at night, once the shops have closed, the passage empties out the way the film shows it. It is about ten minutes on foot from Brera, so the two fit into the same day.
