Seongsu-dong, where old factory alleys have turned into cafés and studios. The scenes of Mi-ji job-hunting in Mi-rae's place and reuniting with old classmates were shot among this neighborhood's lanes and shops. Its blend of worn and new mirrors the sisters' awkward in-between state.

가은고등학교 경북 문경시 가은읍

A school in Gaeun, Mungyeong, Gyeongbuk, standing in for the schooldays of the sisters' fictional hometown 'Duson-ri.' The countryside schoolyard ringed by mountains and the old classrooms reflect the track Mi-ji once ran before leaving for Seoul, and the sisters' childhood, just as they were.

An elementary school in Subuk, Damyang, Jeollanam-do, filling out the Duson-ri village scenes. Amid broad fields and low walls, this is where Mi-rae, back in Mi-ji's place, rediscovers the smell of earth and the slow rural hours.
